Our group liked the idea of having an 怨霊(Onryō) In our thriller opening. Having an 怨霊(Onryō) in our opening would bring in the ideas of revenge and death. It would also leave the viewer wondering why he or more likely she was so hung up on revenge. Although most of the people who will view our thriller opening will be western (Since it will be our media department watching),and may not fully understand the concept of an 怨霊(Onryō). They are feared now in most cultures, since the America remake of Ringu was petrifying. Many would recognise a 怨霊(Onryō) costume, although they might not know it's origins.
We also thought that the credits could be in 한글(Hangul), the modern Korean alphabet, and flash out to english then back to 한글(Hangul). We would have liked to of written them in Japanese, but as none of us know Japanese, we are considering Korean credits. This will also help to give more of an oriental feel to our thriller.
