The suspence genre figures have defiantly increased as the years went on , gaining popularity through famous actors appearing in the film to help promote it . For example if a film producer wanted to make a suspence film and target it to teens they might have "Justin timberlake" appear this itself would boost the figures. However a genre that has been declining is Sci-fi , on some years the figures are high for example when films like "avator" hit the screens the sci-fi figures were very high. All in all though the sci fi genre's figures are never consistant and seem to be declining.
